A Nice Thought

"Happiness should not be destination but the journey itself". I had little anxiety about the destination which was stopping me of enjoying the journey. but now i am loving the journey and feeling nice about it. I m not going to stay idle thinking about the feasibilty of destination instead i will be putting my best and will enjoi the process and leave the result on HIM...
A nice thought can change the way u live ur life :)

On Love

It is said that Love is not done purposefully, it just happens. It is not done from the head but from the heart. if we will try to put more practicability into it ( i agree some degree of practicability is good) than it will lose its charm. If the love is true, then it can win over any hurdle.
What say ppl??

A Memorable Trip

The Trip had everything to remember..some cool ML fundas, a Titanic experience, puri beach moments of anxiety and later fun with affi, customised antakshari and not to forget the real nice songs from sona & sapna and off course patro's jokes :)
It was a tough decision to decide about the location of the trip but thank GOD we finally make it...so the stage was set at 5:30 am , jhabier college..
Woke up with lot of enthu and was ready by 5:40 , keenly waiting for the indica to come but alas!! its seems like some other Jhabier college has come in bbsr(never heard..finally came to know tht it was a story) so its started getting delayed untill........................... patro lost his temper and then started the ML gyaan (P.S Patro is ML topper)and came to know more about consumer court, mental agony(jst wondering did he actually have some:)) The Trip was almost on the verge of getting cancelled as it was alraedy 8am but Thank GOD again we thought of going ahead and not wasting one more early morning ( for ur info : Jhabier mornings are really nice )
so it all started and with 2 stage singers and one upcoming singer ( she sang really well thru out) with some good contributions from patro and affi( slept most of time :)) we kept on the antakshari session which continued till we reached XIMB back( u should appreciate the ethu of the singers inside). Not to forget i was at my best today and was the sole contender for the worst song selections and erratic execution :) after the schedule which got helter shelter after the morning mishap we some how reached chilika by 10:30 and the journey to kalijai temple began( Kalijai temple is 18 kms from Chilika and motor boats are available in plenty to take u thr). We thought of going to see dolphins but being already started late we thought against it and again some market research data about dolphin trip showed : 4 people no success i.e cud not find any dolphins. we were very happy that we made a good decision as we somehow make it to puri beach before sunset...
The kalijai trip was real titanic experience..i was feeling nice to be so close to nature and it natural beauties( we had hard time finding other beauties ;) during the trip and had to be satisfied be the one's we had :))
so... nature and us and how come no pics??? ( Thanks to ashish 4 his digicam)the photo session:) started and we had real nice pics. buzz me if u wanna see..
i had some beautiful moments with a nice 2 year kid "Ashish" in the boat. he was really lovely. it was like i became a child with him. child hood days were so nice and i really crave for them now.
we saved some time in the process and were getting back to earlier schedule but alas again!!!
why the hell targedy strucks us only :(
the road that the driver took to puri was in a very bad shape and the journey which we thought to be a 2 hr journey get enlarged to 3.5 hrs so we were again back to ur delayed schedule.(Thank GOD we saved some time during our kalijai trip). I and aftab were very excited about the puri beach but our enthu was getting lowered as the sun was going down ..we raeched puri at around 5 :30 and it was like... dark setting in and not to forget the chilly weather. but as usual MNITians( me and aftab) never run away from the battlefield.. so we slowly started getting more inside into the sea waters and the anxiety we initially had, turned into fun and we atarted loving it (Remember Mc donalds ad: I m lovin it)
we were little dissapointed that others didn't join otherwise the fun wud have been more ;) its veg..
after that we marched towards the historic and pious Jagannath temple.. we kept our sandals inside the car and it was like flashblack for me( our vaishno devi trip during engg we went bare foot all thru till maa ka darbar, bharaivji and back).
I have been to temple before and have been very lucky as i was able to get what i asked for the last time. I have tremendous believe in GOD and by his grace , i am whatever i am now...
A sudden feeling of happiness filled in me as i eneterd the mandir gate. To tell you it was Lord's call and i have not planned to visit untill "patro and team" asked 4 the trip and i usually think twice before i say yes but this time i didn't thought and said yes..so its all his drama:)
i thanked GOD and put some new queries: result awaited todays dream :)
will try to put in next blogs if interesting things turn up....
Now, After the Gods bless everything went fine and we made it to XIMB by 10pm and the journey was filled with fun some put deliberartely by me and some i actually donno why i m losing my memories :) and also it was scintillating performance by the upcoming singer of XIMB guess who?????
she is GOLD of XIMB ( Hint: read the blog once more )
Hope tht some more interesting things will come in my life with new year round the corner and dont forget about the Dream .

Operation Duryodhana & Operation Chakravyuha

As i woke up today morning and glanced at the TOI main page i found a landmark decision being taken in the history of indian democracy. The 11 tainted ministers who have been involved in the Cash for query scam and MPLAD scam have been expelled by the parliament.i have seen many scams starting from Bofors, urea,JMM bribery case, tehelka, the much recent volcker report revelation and the list can goes on.India has been ranked as among the most corrupted nations of the world by many International agiencies. i could say that corruption has got into our blood and is no more a social stigma. i have been part of many GDs discussing about Corruption and how to face this menace and pondered about how can we get over this evil. For rooting out the corruption,I believe that it should start from the top. when we see our political leaders who have been our role models during the pre and immediate post independence era are now very much submerged into the ocean of corrupt activities. Also there has little that has been done to check this. One of the glaring examples is the case of Sukhram. everybody knows what happened to him. Such type of incidents actually demolish the faith that one has on the democarcy.
But today decision has been truly a landmark one. It was the need of the hour that the decision should be line to uphold the dignity of the citadel of the indian decomacry. And not only the entire nation but the whole world was looking at what the decision would be.It is true that these 11 ministers were just unlucky enough to get caught and there are many many big shots into all this but it is also true that we have to make a beginning somewhere. I would like to congratulate Media(the fourth pillar of the democracy) for keeping up to its role.
I believe that corruption can be tackled and rooted out with the help of technology( right to information act, ITC echoupal ), bringing private players into the fray to increase competition, literacy and not to forget the Media's role.
we need to clean up these corrupt practices and mentalities and work together to realise the dream of India becoming the world power by 2050. Amen !!!!

Why to walk if u can Run

I was just pondering about what should be my first blog on ? and then THOUGHTS came to my mind of one of the bestsellers "The Autobiography of Lee Ioccaca" where Lee Ioccaca's father run after the golf ball after hitting it and when Ioccaca asks father why are u running,u can simply walk. His father replies "Why to walk if I can Run". This Quote always had a big influence on me and has always driven me to perform my best. My tryst to start a blog is again the inner desire of me to give words to my THOUGHTS.
Looking at the fast pace at which the world is changing one has to be "on the run" to catch up with the world. I remember the famous story of "Alice in wonderland" courtesy Father Abe about Alice who was running fast on the same place and when asked that why was she running at the same place she says " i have to run to be at the same place otherwise i will be left behind".
Today i had a feeling that i am not running. I am lacking the killer instinct that i used to have earlier during my school and engineering days. A lot of complacency has crept in.I don't wanna be left behind and i thank GOD ,who has always guided me whenever i got awry, for making me realise about the same.
With the New Year Season quite near i wanna include the same into my New Year Resolutions list, I am following this ritual very religiously for long although i have been very bad at implementations most of the time :)
one another resolution i will assure u that i would be following from today onwards is to constantly putting down my THOUGHTS here.
Happy Reading :)
